Securing the Future

The Bishop’s Meadow Trust was set up in November 2009 in order to purchase and save 35 acres of Farnham’s ancient water meadows for the people of Farnham.

Over the last 4 years we managed to raise an amazing £125,000 towards buying the meadows, but it wasn’t quite enough money and we ran out of time to buy them back from Sir Ray Tindle who kindly stepped in from the start to help us out. Then in 2012 jIMG_0628ust in the nick of time we were kindly offered an interest free loan of £75,000 by The Farnham (Building Preservation) Trust to finally buy the meadows and save them for future generations of local Farnham inhabitants and visitors to enjoy.

Now we must pay back the loan as well as continue to raise money to managed and maintain the meadows and for the running costs of the Trust.

There are many ways you can help support the Bishop’s Meadow Trust
