BMT in the news again

August 15, 2015

tesco 2BMT Treasurer, Graham Aston, was presented with a cheque for £1,080 by Gareth Glazier of Tesco in Aldershot last week.  Also present were BMT council members Pippa Hoyland and Brian Martin.

We were thrilled to receive this grant which will be used to create protected areas for wildlife on the Meadow.  Thank you Tesco Charity Trust.

This weeks edition of the Farnham Herald covers the story too!

Farnham organisations support the BMT

August 6, 2015

The Bishop’s Meadow Trust council members were delighted when we heard that grants had been received from two locally based organisations in Farnham.

The Farnham Institute Charity has given £2,000 specifically to help the BMT in developing a new and more interactive website. Watch this space.

Ashgate Publishing based in Farnham has given £750 for the work of the BMT in general.

All successful fundraising is a massive boost to our work and it is especially encouraging when we feel so supported by our local community in Farnham.  A big thank you!
