True to form, Farnham residents reached into their pockets on Friday, 5th September and donated an amazing £369.94 for the Bishop’s Meadow.  The Trust is entitled to claim Gift Aid on this donation which should add a further £92 so many thanks to everyone who donated their cash, expressed interest or just stopped for a chat.

BMT volunteers and directors set up camp outside Sainsbury in South Street; in the Lion and Lamb courtyard; outside Boots and one intrepid collector even went to the Meadow to talk to walkers and joggers!

So, many thanks to all volunteers on the day for catching the eyes of passers-by.  Apart from the vitally needed cash, we hope that the Flag Day increased awareness of the Bishop’s Meadow and its importance as a beautiful green space in Farnham.
